I'm a graduate student in STEM who is interested in visual arts even though I do not have any formal training and I am mostly self-taught.
I started dabbling in digital art in 2010 after getting my first tablet and was originally doing art for fun while learning how to draw dragons and looking at game art development videos. However, I later began producing art pieces with and for the communities I was part of, most notably the Pokémon video games community in Singapore and some student undergraduate student groups which I joined in 2011.
In 2012, I tried my hand at cosplay and built my first armor with EVA foam for a school project. Since then, I have been working with foam in making props and managed to make a second foam armor in 2015.
In Sep 2015, I started graduate school and wasn't able to produce as much art as before. However, I still consider myself as a hobbyist and desire to continue building and making new stuff in my spare time.
